Holaztec was founded in 2006. The name is a combination of two words, Hollanda and Azteca, reflecting the company’s roots — with owners originating from Mexico and the Netherlands.
In 2014, Holaztec completed its first development project and built its first backup system for private use. Since then, the company has focused primarily on consultancy and system development. After 2023, Holaztec became more active in the market, specializing in on-grid solar and Energy Storage Systems (ESS).
Development remains a core activity. We have designed our own in-house Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), a key component for ESS installations, and we are currently working on a DC ATS to integrate existing on-grid solar systems with off-grid ESS backup solutions.
Our mission is to provide people with greater energy independence and stability. This means better access to reliable energy, fewer contractual obligations with electricity companies, and lower overall costs.
